The Slit Lamp uses LED illumination. The color temperature of the LED is designed to be similar to that of halogen bulb output. It has a life span of 20,000 hours and does not generate nearly any heat. |

A customized rechargeable Li-ion battery is used in our portable Slit Lamp. After being fully charged, the Slit Lamp can be used for 6 hours continuously. The unit can be recharged by putting whole device on the included recharging dock station or remove the battery to recharge separately. |
Different from other common Slit Lamp apertures our portable Slit Lamp provides a 1X1 mm square aperture for assessment of anterior chamber flare. |
